Welcome to the King’s Head at Chitterne. Burried in the heart of Salisbury Plain, Chitterne is a small village with big attitude.

The pub closed in June 2020 and its future looked very uncertain but thanks to a Community buyout supported by Plunkett UK, and many investors from near and far, it was bought by the Chitterne Community Pub Group in December 2024. It reopened in June 2025 with new tenants and is now, once again, the heart of the village.
